External otitis is one of the most common pathologies in the veterinary clinic.

It is estimated that otitis accounts for approximately 15% of the cases seen in the daily clinic.

It is an inflammation of the external auditory canal distal to the tympanic membrane (the auditory pavilion may not be affected) which can be acute or chronic and unilateral or bilateral.

The most common clinical signs are head shaking, odor, pain (particularly when manipulating the ear), exudate, and erythema.

First application:
- Clean the ear canal with an appropriate cerumenolytic optical cleaner.
- Fill the ear canal with ABELIA® Zn-Otic.
- Gently massage the base of the ear for a few seconds.
- Let it dry.

Later applications:
- apply, depending on the size of the animal, from 0.25 ml (5 drops) to 3 ml, twice a day, or 1-2 times a week, depending on individual needs.
