Adaptil Collar Collar convenient and easy to use. It diffuses the canine calming pheromone steadily (even when the dog is outdoors). The dog's body temperature and close contact warms the collar and promotes the diffusion of pheromones into the surrounding environment. It is essential that the Adaptil Collar is in close contact with the dog's skin at all times. Adaptil Collar is ideal for: • Socializing the dog; • Travel (for dogs that travel frequently or for long trips and/or going to new destinations, such as vacations, or a new home, etc.); • Stay in a canine kennel/hotel; • Training programs; • Noisy events (storms or fireworks), especially for dogs that live primarily outdoors (outdoors) and cannot be kept indoors during such events; • Stay alone at home (especially for outdoor dogs). Each collar lasts up to 4 weeks. It can be replaced when necessary. Instructions for use • Place a finger on the plastic loop located inside the collar near the buckle; • Using this loop, pull the thin plastic to unroll the collar; • Tighten the collar; • Place through your dog's head. Tighten loosely around the dog's neck; • Tighten the collar to fit and comfortably contact your dog's skin; • You must be able to place no more than 2 fingers between the collar and the dog's skin; • Ensure that the collar is fixed to the buckle; • Cut off the excess portion of the collar. Note on puppies: As the puppy grows, it is important to regularly check the fit of the collar to make sure it is not too tight. Adaptil Collar has been proven to work on all dog breeds as long as it is placed correctly. The canine appeasing pheromone is released almost immediately. The collar does not work when it is wet, but it diffuses the pheromone again once it is dry. If your dog wears another collar it is important to ensure that the Adaptil Collar remains in contact with the skin. Please note that Adaptil Collar cannot be used to apply a leash. Do not use the collar on dogs with extensive skin lesions. Do not open the protective pouch until you are ready to use the product.
